Very cool photo and a bit of a trip back to memory lane to when I studied aeronautical engineering. I recall I quite enjoyed studying supersonic aerodynamics; it was easier than subsonic.

(Just to be sure, it’s spelled Schlieren.)

I’ve seen another photo of it with those as well as ones coming off the down-swept wingtips and tips of the vertical fins.
