    I’m in for one, fired one years ago that was a one off based on the originals from the movie, it was awesome, but only had a few rounds.

    I still want the big waist-mounted one; I looked that up – the prop used in the movie was a modified MG-34 attached to a Steadicam mounting.
    The theory it was supposed to work on was that it would us a IR sensor to lock onto the target, which would then appear in the gunner’s helmet-mounted sighting reticle.
    Since the aliens were cold-blooded, it couldn’t lock on to them.

    When they come out with one in .30 I’ll be more interested, and you would have to load short 12 gauge rds so you would have a decent capacity, fletchettes with a single flat wad would get you down to 1 1/2 inch, 7 rds in the tube and one in the chamber.
