I like that last question about Congress on other planets. There’s a sci-fi novel in that.
During the Depression, British airplane companies built boats, ice boxes, car bodies, and furniture. When Parliament decided to fund protection from Hitler, the skills were still in place. Is there anything an aerospace company could built while we’re waiting for a sense of urgency? (Note to self: Expect to hear “no.”)
Well, THAT was the most depressing thing that I have heard this week. But, it is only Monday.
