Remember how Tea Partiers/Sarah Palin/Glen Beck were giving subtle hints to carry out acts of violence against Democrats… and how everyone was supposed to play nice these days? Gentlemen…. BEHOLD:

  1. yeah..bring the fight to the “teabaggers”…

which side has more permits to carry again?

  2. Two problems with that:
    1) Which side is more bloody-minded and willing to actually shed blood
    2) Which side will the media generally favor?

If a shouting match forms, and the union goons start clubbing a guy, and the guy pulls out a pistol and plugs one of ’em, what do you think the spin is going to be? I can assure you that it’ll be something like “crazed right-wing gunman murders peaceful working man.”

  3. “which side has more permits to carry again?”

    In WISCONSIN? Bwahahaha!
Maybe, after their legislature gets itself back together, they can pass some sort of carry bill with a governor in office that might actually sign it.

  4. no permits to carry. huh. I forget there are still uncivillized states in the union.

and as far as “spin”..this is why you get it on camera. a mass of thugs with baseball bats swarming a few people, and one guy with a gun yelling “STOP OR I WILL SHOOT!!!”. you don’t have to actually shoot anyone. thugs hear “gun” and they fade like a vampire seeing the first rays of daylight.

we’ve stopped ANSWER thugs at our tea party rallies simply by open-carrying. they left before they started anything. they knew we couldn’t be intimidated. when they were overheard saying they would ambush people as they left the rally…we passed the word that everyone, carrying or not, if attacked, should make sure to proclaim loudly that he DID have a gun.

the bad guys know we have most of the guns. and they don’t have to see them, or even have them present, to have the desired effect on thugs.

  5. I’m continually amazed at how many people think just because they side with gun controlist that they don’t have guns. In a place like Wisconsin, the number of firearms on either side is probably even on a per capita basis. Just think of all the hunters. Additionally, when you make your living being a thug, you will arm yourself. To think they don’t have guns is hubris.

  6. yeah! Kill all those fucking teabaggers!

  7. > and as far as “spin”..this is why you get it on camera.

Errr… still no. Remember the claims of Tea Partiers spitting on congressmen and calling some of them “the N word?” The confrontations in question were caught on tape with multiple cameras. No spitting detected. No “N-word” detected. $10,000 offered by Breitbart for proof that these occured. And yet…the claim is still being made.

  8. “In other words, a blatant call for violence in case someone who disagrees with you “gets in your way.””

A post on craigslist now counts as the left making a call for violence? Come on, you may hate democrats but thats one hell of a stretch, especially when you start equating it with statements made by palin, beck, et al.

As for the allegedly non-exist spit video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmP4Gb2pEsY

About 14 seconds in you can see Cleaver get hit by spit (and latter wipe it away). You can debate whether or not the loogie hurling was intentional, but the man was later arrested. You can also hear, albeit faintly, a man joining in the chant of “kill the bill” with his own little addendum of “and the nigger too”

  9. > A post on craigslist now counts as the left making a call for violence?

It’s certainly a call from *someone* on the left for violence.

    > equating it with statements made by palin, beck, et al.

No, I’m not equating it. This is far beyond anythign the likes of Beck and Palin have said. When have they called for actual blood?

    > You can debate whether or not the loogie hurling was intentional

What it looks like is someone screaming. It’s easy to understand spittle accidentally flying around while shouting; I’m having difficulty imagining doing it *intentionally*. As in, I can’t see how it would be physically possible to shout *and* spit at the same time. And why did it take Cleaver so long to wipe it off? I believe a case for “acting” can be made.

    > You can also hear, albeit faintly…

When? I listened through this several times and didn’t hear it. If you did and can prove it, go to Breitbart and collect your $10,000. And the claim has long been that Tea Partiers (“teabaggers” in the terminology of the Left) *yelled* the N-word, not that one guy muttered it.
