Good God! That is a huge freaking dog. I wonder if he is saddle broken?

Yeah, it’s a Great Dane; although I can’t remember it myself, my family had one of those monsters named “Duchess” when I was a very young kid.
My tiny uncle on my father’s side came to visit us, and the thing jumped him, toppled him backwards, and pinned him to the ground…then started licking him to death on his face. 😉
The first pet I can remember our family having as a child was our Siamese cat, “Siam”.
I’ve already written before about what that terror did when a unfriendly dog challeged it, with all the howling and running involved over three city blocks distance.
You wouldn’t actually think a Dalmatian could hit around 50 MPH till you put an angry Siamese cat on top of its back. 😀
My grandmother also had a siamese cat but none of those encounters.
Ah, Marmaduke’s mean cousin, Snoop. In the last photo, he seems to say:
“Yeah man, I KNOW you’re a cat person…”
