Got it largely modeled. It’s kinda huge, but it’s faithful to the available illustrations. Obviously the rails and the base need a bit of trimming. I had to change the booster rockets; the existing ones simply wouldn’t work with this.

  1. That’s a really strange way to elevate it into launch position, but I guess the trick is to do it without letting anyone near the launcher for fear of radiation.
Another thought is that you could store it between the two big triangular side walls for enemy nuclear blast and ground crew radiation protection, roll it forward on the track, have the two front rollers snap out into position to engage the top of the side walls, then back it up into launch position.
You could kill this missile in a odd way; if you detonate a neutron warhead near enough to it, (either in flight or while it’s on the launcher) the increased neutron flux could cause the Tory ramjet to go super-critical and overheat to the point where it melted down.
It would be particularly vulnerable to that on the launch pad; the reactor needs the airflow through it to stay within operating temperature range, and if it goes critical while at rest there’s going to be big trouble.
