  3. What I’d be concerned about is standing under that hole in the roof and thinking: “Nothing has fallen off the edges of this hole in hundreds or even hundreds of thousands of year’s time.
    Right till today…given my recent luck, a fifty pound piece of solidified magma is lurking up there with my name on it.” :-D.

  4. If there was a source of water close enough some of those tubes would make excellent houses. Oh, that would mean using natural resources for the betterment of humans, can’t have that, now can we!

    I was at Craters of the Moon in the early ’80s and loved it. Hell, I even enjoyed the bus ride over there from Ft Lewis, it is beautiful country. But mainly because we didn’t have to walk it!
