Fingers in the window. This is a little too close for Raethinn… while Fingers spent the whole time purring up a storm, Raedthinn spent the whole time growling.

  1. Is she actively trying to get out? Or just sorta kinda?

  2. I have two house cats. Both were raised in the house, and both are fascinated by the outdoors. The dominant female will spend hours staring out the windows or front door and will frequently squirm outside when given the opportunity. Half the time, she makes it to the steps before a passing car will scare her back to the front door, and about a third of the time she will actually beg to be let back in.

The other cat, a crockpot-sized (and weight) lump of goo, has actually tried exploring the alley a few times, but is usually satisfied with a quick roll in the dirt (literally); and then will happily allow herself to be carried back into the house, purring maniacally.

  3. I would have thought Raedthinn would have been more laid back than that, considering he resisted the temptation to tear Tak limb-from-limb despite Tak’s constant provocations.

  4. I note Raidthinn has still got optimal cat placement figured out to a “T”… resting on the cushion, right next to the fan. 🙂
How is Finger’s injury healing up?

  5. Healed. A roughly circual scar with no fur, .75 inch diameter or so, but difficult to notice unless you look for it. Quite remarkable, really.

And yes, Raedthinn is all about creature comforts.
