It must be mother Earth, come to punish us for our wayward, energy-wasting ways! Quick everyone, break all the lightbulbs in your vicinity, throw away the keys to your cars, and transfer all your savings to Al Gore in atonement!
Why not try feeding Al Gore to Gaia?
Or, even better, let’s just leave the planet to Al and his buddies. Let them live in the woods and be in total harmony with nature — without the distractions of those of us who don’t see him as a messiah of the green.
Was this quake on the southern end of the San Andreas fault line?
It looks like it from the maps I’ve been checking.
