Here are two diagrams of the rocket engine used on the wartime German A-4 (“V-2”) missile:
Zeichnung Nr. 5416 B-U2, “Unterteil zum Heizbehalter,” dated 1944. Shows a cross-section and details of the combustion chamber/nozzle. 6970X4940 pixels, grayscale.
Zeichnung Nr. 5416 B-U1 Ausf. A, “Kopf zum Heizbehalter,” dated 1944, showign a large cross-section of the injector head with details of the individual injector “cups.” 7040X4784 pixels, grayscale.
Also included are halfsize versions for easier viewing & printing.
Considerable time and effort was spent on cleaning up these scans. These diagrams go well with the V-2 diagrams I released some time ago with Space Doc 16, “Technical Data on the Development of the A4.” Included in SDOC16 are both the original scan, and the much-slaved-over cleaned-up version, of the overall A-4 missile cutaway:
As well as the layout drawing for the full A-4 engine:
And of course, there was also Space Drawing 14, the Wasserfall surface to air missile:
Space Drawing Set 22 can be purchased for download for $5.50:
Additionally, get all three sets… SDWGs 14 & 22, and SDOC 16, for $13.50, five bucks off the regular total of $18.50:

Yup! Been there, built that, ran that. 🙂
Hi, I recently found your blog and have mentioned a couple of your posts on mine. I was wondering if you mind if I borrow some of your low-res diagrams to spruce up my posts? With link back and credit to the source, of course.
TIA,
Dick

With links back… yes, by all means.
