Koshka really doesn’t like Tak, and for good reason… Koshkas goal in life is to be left alone, while Taks goal in life is to physically dominate all other cats. A few days ago Koshka exited a “playhouse,” or whatever you want to call it, and saw Tak staring at her from above. Koshka has learned that running just makes Tak chase; I guess the predatory instinct kicks in. So Koshka has learned to do the opposite: move reeeaaaaallll slow. Took her about a minute to cross six feet. You could feel (and see) the hate just radiating off of Koshka.

One Response to “Walking against wind…”

  1. Funny how that works. My neighbors have a cat that is the sibling of my cat (both found as stray kittens). Mine is a friggin’ moose but he’s not really a fighter (though the birds might disagree). The neighbor’s cat is Mike Tyson before he went nuts. Anyway theirs usually chases my cat indoors (cat door). One day though mine was in “kill mode”, saw the neighbors cat and was getting ready to do his lion-chasing-down-a-zebra impression. The neighbor’s cat saw mine looking like he was ready to run him down and eat him and decided “I think I’ll go back in the house”. And did. Now if I could just teach my cat to do that every time.
