Hopefully, I’m within a week of being done with the Base Ship master parts. A bit of trimming, blending and massaging of these parts, and they’ll be ready to go. I understand that the model kit is set for a release in late summer/early autumn.

And here I was just gonna cast the frakker solid. 🙂
Doing it this way makes it lighter and opens a few possibilities. If the arms are cast clear (I don’t know that they will be, but I’m arguign that there might be a market for such), then the hollow center section can be used for ligting purposes.
