According to the Daily Mail, the nitwitted bureaucrats in charge of the EU are now demanding warning labels on packages that are bigger than the packages themselves:
The problem stems from the fact that Brussels says nutrition information should be printed in large clear font at least 3mm tall so shoppers can see clearly the amount of calories, salt, saturated fat and sugar in what they are buying.
EU experts insist only large print will help shoppers choose healthy products and so prevent the rising tide of obesity and associated ill health.
This would be the right spot to insert a gag showing how truth-in-advertising laws like this would mean that pro-Obama posters would have to be ten feet tall in order to accomodate all the warnings about “Communism may be bad for your health.”
