Those in power should be reminded at every opportunity that they are *not* special, that they have no special rights, and that the respect they are owed is, well, “not much.” I’m unfamiliar with the players in this little drama, but I applaud Dr. Brinkley for showing politicians here almost no respect.

Politicians, especially the ones we have now, do not deserve our respect.
The people who deserve our respect are the ones who actually do something for our country like the men and women fighting overseas, and of course, the men and women who help protect things like firefighters, policemen, and others like them who get no recognition for what they do.
