The *almost* final design that became the F-4 Phantom II:
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
It just doesn’t look right without the upswept wingtips with the leading-edge dogtooth.
The triangular objects just aft of the wing in the top view had me going for a second, but they are the tail fins on the aft Sparrow missiles.
