    Believe it when it flies. I’ve seen a lot of mock-ups of privately developed spacecraft that were never turned into real things.

    This one is a bit further along than a “mockup.” Supersonic wind tunnel testing as well as engine testing puts it ahead of the vast majority of other startups that have been and gone. Additionally, XCOR has gotten some pretty lucrative contracts in the last year or so, something that most of the other startups couldn’t claim.
