Second Video Shows Brutal Gang Attack On Tourist Outside Baltimore Courthouse

While on the ground, the man was set upon by about ten attackers, who stole his Tag Heuer watch, money, iPhone, and keys to his Audi, according to police. The dazed and defenseless victim is also punched, kicked, and even hit with a shoe by several assailants. In a final indignity, the man is “teabagged” by a male attacker.

Man tells police group yelled ‘Trayvon,’ then beat him

Police are investigating the “racially motivated” beating of a 27-year-old man who was walking home from midtown bars early Saturday when he said he was jumped by five to eight men who shouted “Trayvon” before the attack.

And because, sure, why the hell not:

Trayvon Martin: UN leader calls for investigation

Navi Pillay, the U.N.’s human rights chief, has called for the organization to launch an immediate investigation into the case.

NOTE: for anyone who doesn’t get the reference of this posts title, it’s from “The Kentucky Fried Movie:”

What was funny in 1977, and based on the idea of someone intentionally seeking danger and acting stupidly, has turned into a reality. Except the Rex Kramers of today do not seem to be actual Danger Seekers, just regular schmoes minding their own business.

Seems the cute lil’ 6’3″ darlin’ was a literary genius of the highest caliber.

The Last Tweets Of Obama’s ‘@NO_LIMIT_NIGGA’ Trayvon Martin

I have no idea what truly happened that night between Martin and Zimmerman. But the image that Martin himself made an effort to put across matches up well with the image that Zimmerman is describing as the guy who attacked him: thug.

Oh, and:

And…

That last link comes complete with no context whatsoever. No clue just what the hell is going on. So can we assume that MSNBC, with Ed Schultz and Al Sharpton, will lead the charge to demand an investigation and some arrests?

Obama  has officially made one relatively mundane homicide into a matter of utmost federal interest with his reply to the *one* question he took today when introducing Jim Yong Kim as his choice to head the world bank. In the midst of his reply, he made this extremely telling statement:

“My main message is to the parents: If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon. I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves.”

Huh.

If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon.

So… is it racist if someone makes it plain that the reason for his interest in an alleged crime is because the victim “looked like me?” If you think no, consider this: assume Newt Gingrich had spoken out on the attempted murder of Allen Coon , and he made it plain that his interest was what Allen “looked like.”

Given that Obama spent twenty years willingly, intentionally and openly attending an avowedly racist church, it hardly seems unreasonable to assume some racism on his part. However, I expect the bigger goal here among Obama and his ilk isn’t so much racism, but they’ve detected an opportunity to roll back the right to self defense in general and the Second Amendment in particular. There are a *lot* of homicides in the US, many substantially and objectively more spectacular than  this one. But this one can be – and has been – spun as an example of why Americans should be forced to retreat or cower in the face of a threat to their lives. And thus… 24/7 news coverage, with the usual pack of rabid mouthpieces yammering on about how horrible it is that the law in Florida allows mere citizens to defend themselves.

Still and all… never forget that you are more important to the President if you look like you might be related to him.

Now you can fulfill all your deepest desires to advertise your membership in the most important Cult Of Personality in a million years by buying and flying this flag which replaces the stars (which represent the trivially unimportant States) with the smiling benevolent visage of the pinnacle of human evolution:

BARACK OBAMA USA FLAG 3′ X 5′ BANNER

Oddly, there are people who are opposed to this. Clearly, they are counter-revolutionary reactionaries who probably need to be sent to a re-education facility.

Lake Democratic Party head removes Obama flag veterans termed ‘desecration’

UPDATE: This seems the be the company selling the flag… UltimateFlags.com. Before anyone gets the wrong idea, they’ve got the right to do so… and if it’s a moneymaker, they’re *smart* to do so. Hell, if I thought I could turn a profit doing so, I’d sell Little Red Books to Commies, Mein Kampfs to Nazis, Korans to Muslims or horrible cheap “Obama is awesome” chotchkies to Democrats. My point here is that the people *buying* and *flying* these flags seem to be a bit… off. And anyone who sends death threats to the company selling the flags is even more *off.*

When Newt Gingrich suggested that an American moon base could be established by 2021, I expected that the lefties in the press would point and laugh. And they have done so, right on cue. What I’ve found disturbing, though, is that the mere *mention* on an American moon base causes the audience to erupt in laughter. Fifty years ago, when our technological and scientific base was much poorer than it is today, an equivalent suggestion was met with applause and hundreds of thousands of people rolling up their sleeves. Today, that suggestion is met with derision and apathy.

The future belongs to the bold. Apparently, a substantial fraction of the American public has rejected even the basic notion of being bold.

We’re doomed.

Dems propose ‘Reasonable Profits Board’ to regulate oil company profits

Oh, goodie. The short form: a “windfall profit tax” would tax at a rate of 100% any profit that was considered to be “unreasonable.” “Reasonable” and “unreasonable” are left undefined, thus leaving it up to politicians and bureaucrats to decide when someone is making too much profit.

Regardless of what you think about oil companies, this sort of thing is so wrong headed as to be indistinguishable from “stupid and/or evil.” For starters, if selling a bunch of oil will merit a 100% tax, then the oil company will have no incentive to sell that oil. Since the demand for oil will not be decreased at the same time that the government is driving down supply… the price of oil (and its derivatives, such as gasoline and plastics) will necessarily skyrocket.  There will be an intricate dance of oil companies driving down supply while making more per gallon, and still trying to avoid the 100% tax. “Death spiral” is the term that comes to mind. If this is the unintended consequence of this sort of law, that means that those behind it are “stupid.”

But since it seems pretty likely that those who have crafted this bill can figure out that this will be the result, they are more likely to be “evil.” Obama has said that he wants the price of energy to skyrocket; this would certainly aid that goal, while at the same time demonizing oil companies. Why would anyone do this? The claims has often been made that jacking up the cost of fossil fuels will lead people to buy into “alternate fuels.” But… while electric cars are almost as old as the internal combustion engine, IC cars have gotten far better, while electric cars remain either terribly expensive, ridiculously impractical… or both. A century of development doesn’t really seem to have helped here. Why would jacking up the price of oil help all of a sudden? The only things that this will help are cronyism and anti-energy, anti-growth ideologies.

And there’s another concern: once it has been established that the government can take 100% of the “unreasonable” profits of one industry… they can do it to any and all industries. While I’d find it schadenfreudalicious if Congress decided that actors, athletes, singers and such were good for up to $400,000 per year, and any income above that would be taxed at 100%, it’s clear that such a power would be a power no government should have.

The Occu-Drama continues to amuse:

Surprise, Homeland Security Coordinates #OWS Crackdowns

So the government that the fleabaggers want to grant more power to… is using the power it already has to bulldoze their little Obamavilles out of parks all over the nation. Heh.

But wait! Seems the fleabaggers might be willing to fight back!
