I still can’t figure out why he’s wearing a full pressure suit with the helmet visor down in something that looks like it’s pressurized (note how the external work gloves are extended by the air pressure).
Other than artistic license, the pressure suit could be for redundancy. I seem to recall that NASA likes to have triple redundancy for all life-safety items (3 air-tight layers to suits, 3 oxygen supplies, etc.).
A pressure suite suitable as redundancy in case of loss of cabin pressure can be a lot lighter and easier to engineer than a pressure suite flexible enough under pressure for routine work.
