fun video,I have to admit. If ti was real, at least the Russians would I’m
suremake sure that the cat would come back alive, unlike Laika. There was a good
graphic novel written about Laika a while back…comic book style but
well put together…some possible fiction before the flight and yet the
rest true to life…well written.
How far we have come. A Russian commercial , with images of the Soyuz launcher and a staging sequence from an early Saturn V test launch. Who’ a thought, when both these vehicles were being developed, that we’d see them together in a commercial, from Russia yet. With cats.
And yet, in my life time I have seen the birth and death of Americas journey to the Moon, and Americas Space Shuttle program. I fear I’ll never see the birth of another.
That’s really cute! It’s also the first Soyuz rocket I’ve seen equipped with a Saturn V interstage. 🙂
There actually was a Voskhod experiment planned where a dog was going to EVA in a spacesuit before Leonov made his space walk on a later mission, but it was canceled.

Shoulda gone to Mars instead of LEO.
