There’s a great big pile of Global Warming laying a smackdown on the Great Plains just now. From space it looks modestly impressive:

And how’s Utah doing? Cold, a  bit windy, and bright sunshiny skies.

  1. From Chicago, lucky you if that’s the case.

  2. Also from Chicago. Good news: Don’t have to go to work today. Bad News: CAN’T go to work today, even if I wanted. 15 plus inches overnight.

  3. Last night it dropped down to 60 here in SoCal, a real weenie-shrinker

  4. For anyone that is interested,darkroastedblend.com has a section on
Russia and how one of the ways they handle snow is with small jet engines mounted on the front of the trucks to melt the snow. After seeing what we are dealing with here in Illinois and Chicago, we could definitely use a few of them.

  5. I’m still waiting for Global Warming — will be nice during the winter but hell in the summer 🙂
