While looking up something utterly different, I stumbled across a Japanese website, some feller talking about his dad who designed fighters during WWII. On the page is a blueprint of the Boeing B-29… drawn by the Japanese in 1944 or thereabouts.
It’s not uncommon to see Allied drawings of Axis planes; less common to see Axis drawings of Allied planes.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Considering how accurate it is, it must have been based on crashed examples.
Their wartime heavy bomber concept never panned out:

Indeed it’s more accurate than many Western contemporary drawings!! Nice find.
Dang… do you have the hi-res image of the B29 plans?? In return, I’ll digitally print this on canvas for you!

The Japanese diagram from this post? I have nothing better than what’s given on the website linked to in the post. However, I do have a really high-rez B-29 blueprint here: http://www.up-ship.com/blog/drawndoc/drawndocair.htm#airdwg39http://www.up-ship.com/blog/drawndoc/drawndocair.htm#airdwg39
