I admit it: this one has me a tad confuzzled.
‘Space-time cloak’ could conceal events
Scientists have previously demonstrated that one possible use of metamaterials could be to render objects invisible by bending light around them. But Professor Martin McCall of Imperial College London says he has now extended the concept of invisibility to a cloak also capable of hiding events both in time and space.

I had a hard enough time getting used to quantum physics theory without them dropping goofy shit like this on me. š
It seems that not only are all the way-out sci-fi concepts of our youth all coming to fruition, but they are all coming to fruition simultaneously.

Between that and all the robots running around, I feel like I’m about to enter Asimov’s “Caves Of Steel”.
As National Lampoon observed, the most disturbing thing about the Japanese is that we used nuclear weapons against them…and it didn’t work…just like in Pal’s WOTW. š
“Hide from time”? Like some kind of stasis field maybe? That’d be useful:-)
Years ago, Alvin Toffler quoted someone as saying the Japanese would be the first to keep a human head alive. Truth is, the Japanese will be the first to build a machine that can give a human head.
