    but duckweed…

    break out the fishin’ poles…..bound to be something in there worth catching!

  2. We had algae that severe out at nearby Spiritwood lake back in the 1970’s due to fertilizer run-off from nearby fields, but they stuck algae-eating fish into it and fixed it up to where it’s really nice again now.
    Nice thing about the duckweed is that it wouldn’t stink to high heaven in the fall, like the algae does.
    That lake looks pretty small and shallow to have much of a fish population in it though…
