  1. No idea, here, but I can imagine places in Virginia that would provide the same opportunity. I wish you;d provided a link to it, because the tanker hit the car twice while I was reading, and I’m probably gonna have nightmares.

  2. Looks like a stunt, guys start running while the truck is still far away, and the tank is painted in a red/white/red pattern. Plus I don’t see a cop, and that looks like a cop dash cam shot.

  3. Looks pretty goof for a stunt. As for the cop, two options:
    1) Balding feller on the far side of the car. You never get a good look at him.
    2) He’s in the police car.

Here’s 24 seconds worth of better quality, but still not informative video:

  4. To me, it looks like the trucker saw the accident on the far side of the road and tried to slow down so as to not to let the police officer spot that he was going too fast for the wet road conditions.
Unfortunately this apparently went disastrously wrong as his tires lost their grip on the wet road, and the truck jackknifed.
If it was faked, it took some very brave actors to get in that close of vicinity to a out-of-control truck, as it’s nowhere near stopped by the time the video ends, and they could well have been crushed by it as they fled.

  5. It’s clear from the other version that the people are reacting to the trucks brakes locking up, you see them look up at the truck then bolt. I doubt it’s a stunt given that truck is totally out of control and there’s no way to determine where it would go. The framerate is off. They’re running off like Buster Keaton.

The RPD might be a hint as to the location.

  6. I looked for “Ruhr, Ohio,” taking that from the file name, and found nothing. I’m open to ideas.

  7. This is old. I saw it a couple of years ago.

  8. Seems unlikely given that it’s dated a little more than two weeks ago.
