Oh, wait! I do!
I stopped at a print shop today and had several 2D CAD drawings printed off on C- and D-size sheets. This was a test to see how they’d look… printed on 8.5X11 sheets, the best my home printer can do, they look “meh.” But “poster sized,” they look not too shabby in the slightest. And they are also inexpensive compared to the color prints… so before too long you may see my desperately hawking finalized versions of these and other drawings for maybe $4-$7 each. If any of these are of interest – or any CAD drawings of mine you’ve seen in past issues of APR – just let me know. A-12 Avenger II, F-23 derivatives, USS Discovery, Space Station V, Dyna Soar/Titan III are all planned.
First up: the collection of Blended Wing bodies from an old issue of APR, printed on a D-size sheet (34 inches long), at 1/1000 scale.
Next: Convair Super Hustler and derivative designs 91/144 scale), including two versions of “Fish,” one of “Kingfish” (drawing incomplete) and the Dyna Soar I submission.
And three C-sized sheets with the Enzmann starship (diagram incomplete, 1/2400 scale) and two of the Orion Battleship (in need of some revisions, 1/250 scale).

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Ok, the Blended Wing print up top? Freaking beautiful, I’ve always had a liking for planes in that configuration for some reason. Something to do with it hitting the sweet spot of ‘looking sci-fi’ and ‘still technically feasible’ I think.
I admit I’ve never bought anything of yours before, but if you offer prints of it then that might be the first.
I wish I could build a model that had half as many functional parts as that one someone built of the Super Hustler for Convair.
Oh, BTW – Christina Hendricks.
(That’s as magic a name as “Julie Andrews” out of the original version of “Bedazzled”)
I’m in for the BWB and F-23 variations.
I especially like the idea of the Enzmann starship, Orion battleship, and Dyna-Soar/Titan III.
I would go for the Super Hustler and the Orion.
Did I miss something? I didn’t see the Dynasoar/Titan image
Dynasoar and Titan aren’t pictured, but are mentioned in the post.
I’m in for prints of the Orion battleship.
Also prints of NASA Orions if you did those.
[…] are the big D-sized sheets, as shown HERE. These will be substantially less expensive than the full-color blueprints. Some of them may be […]
Space planes. I like space planes of all shapes and sizes. 🙂 I’ll shell out good coin for those. The Orion Battleship ain’t too shabby either.
F23 is of interest as I’m building a scale all composite version for R/C flying with 90mm EDF fans
I am interested on the following planes in this order.
Great stuff.
F-23 (including YF-23, F-23A, NATF-23, FB-23)
A-11/A-12 conceptual reconstructions
A-12 Avenger II
Thank you/
Space:
If you could dig up spacesuit blueprints, manuals, and CAD files that would be worth a king’s ransom.
Aerospace:
Blueprints, manuals, and CAD files of the flying platforms (Hiller, De Lackner, Piasecki, etc)
What he said:
F-23 (including YF-23, F-23A, NATF-23, FB-23)
A-11/A-12 conceptual reconstructions
A-12 Avenger II
Have to say that I enjoy these plans and have supported your efforts by buying them–best wishes with the CAD drawings.
New blueprints: Submarine drawings (perhaps Soviet craft also) would be interesting and perhaps plans for the O’Neil space colonies of the 1970s would be a possibility also.
As to subs and O’Neill colonies: *IF* the large format drawings are a success, I’m thinking of branching out. Sad to say, I suspect sci-fi would sell better than sci-real, and my first ideas along those lines would be “2001” designs, and the Nautilus from “20,000 Leagues,” as actually designed by Verne (not from Disney or any other remake). If *that* idea works out, I would like to do ships & subs as well… but my problem there is that while I have a pretty good archive of detailed aerospace stuff, that’s not the case for nautical stuff. I’d have to raid some Navy archives, i think.
The O’Neill colony idea is a good one, I think.
the BWB and the super hustler look real good I’ll be aquiring both.
I like and am interested in the SST and the F-23 Drawings
The O’Neill Colony would be nice. My house needs some geeking up. As if the Legos and RPGs were not enough.
