How many soldiers has the Osprey killed to date? I don’t think you could get the above thing insured at anything that would be economically justifiable.

Regarding the illustration, that thing’s around the size of a 737.
That’s going to be a noisy sucker with prop/rotor blades that big going around.
It’s quite aesthetically appealing though, isn’t it?
The V-22 Osprey has had 5 crashes with 34 fatalities since 1992. There have other mishaps with it, but the single biggest reason it’s not being flown commercially is there’s no market for it… yet.
