Here is a high-quality blueprint of the proposed but unbuilt Convair “Super Hustler.” This was a “parasite aircraft” intended to be carried to altitude and supersonic speeds underneath a B-58 Hustler; after release, a ramjet powered stage would boost the craft up to around Mach 4. When over the target, the booster stage would fall away, dropping a large nuclear warhead; the manned stage would fly home under its own ramjet power. Convair proposed this to the USAF in the late 1950’s. This blueprint includes top, side and front views of the manned and unmanned stages, showing how it was to fit under the B-58. Also shown is a large amount of dimensional, area and weight data, along with scrap views showing the fins and the nose folding configurations for takeoff and landing.
The blueprint is a high-resolution, high-quality print from a restored digital file, measuring 19 inches high by 36 inches wide. It will look great framed and hanging on a wall. Shipped rolled in a tube.

I like it.
The thing I could never understand about this aircraft is how you are supposed to do training missions with it; are you supposed to parachute the aft body down before landing the front part?
