It’s a cheap piece of crap, I admit, but it’s substantially more structurally sound than the original. It does need to be draped in blankets to seal up the obvious leak paths. Still, the cats have taken to it.
If the cats like it, it’s gotta be good. Do I see rivets or screws holding the plywood to the plastic? That thing would be a good start for a hiding place for an indoor cat.
It looks great You should put a camera inside and have a WWW cat cam with night vision. But the big bag of cat food so close yet impossible to get to must be frustrating for the cats who can;t claw thru plywood

Cat condo 1.2 is what you should list this as. And I can see why they like it, cats always go for that multi-level, loft apartment vibe.
