2010-01-23-pano4.jpgA few days back.

Comments, please. Specifically something along the lines of “why, yes, I would pay to have something like this hanging on my wall,” or perhaps “that’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.”

Interesting, but not something I would put on my wall. However, when you publish that Saturn varient, early space station stuff you know I buy it. Not Nazi stuff though. Sorry.

  2. I think I know two women who’d love to have that on their walls. It’s an excellent work. Deserves to be offered to those who aren’t fortunate enough to see your work every day.

  3. Personally. I find aviation and space stuff interesting.no
matter what country or time period it came from

The resolution of the original (shown here is greatly reduced) is such that it’d look great at 12′ X 36′ .

  5. The lines are “virga”; precipitation in the form of either rain or snow that is falling out of the clouds but evaporating before it reaches the ground.
In this case it’s snow. Sometimes the whole cloud it’s falling from will entirely convert into virga and the cloud simply vanish as it falls.

  6. > The lines are “virga”

    What lines?

  7. Whoops I misread your intro, and thought you were wondering what the lines coming out of the clouds were. 🙂
What’s the brightest star on the left? Sirius?

  8. > Whoops I misread your intro,

Apparently very, very badly. I still don’t see where that came from.

  9. Very nice. I only have one question, though. How far do those neighbors have to tow that boat to get it in water more than ankle deep?

  10. Your pano’s are good, but there’s lot’s of good ones out there. I’d combine your talent and knowledge of astronmy and do a horizon to horizon shot arcing overhead in a vertical format that could be put on the wall, across the cieling and down the opposite wall, a 12’x36′ would cover two walls and the cieling of a 12’x16’x8’h room, very cool wallpaper

  11. >very cool wallpaper

Very *expensive* wallpaper. Printed up photo quality, 12’X36′ would cost (at the prices I’m currently paying) around three grand. Seems a bit much.
