I downloaded this photo off the web a few years back, but it didn’t have the context. Anybody got a link to a description? If it is a for-real shot, it’s amazing timing.
By the way, on the web.archive.org link posted previously, most of the potentially-interesting information is in the comments, which you have to scroll a bit (beyond the missing image links) to find.
I’ve looked at this before. I decided it’s not a plane crashing head first into the ground, but more likely an airplane that “tripped.” It hit a prairie dog hole, or something like that, and nosed over. Anyway, that’s my theory.

I got lucky when searching: “DRM” on the side of the airplane is part of the ‘tail’ number. Awesome picture!
