Several things spring to mind:

His father must be proud. So, so proud.
This is the propaganda that the Biden White House puts out to THE ENTIRE WORLD. This is how they want the world – including our adversaries – to see the USA.
This is supposedly in service of getting more people to get the vaccine. The bulk of the vaccine-reluctant are, at least according to the stereotypes, MAGA-country folk, hillbillies, rednecks, Bible thumpers; plus urban blacks and Hispanics. Is *this* the guy you think will convince *those* people? really? REALLY???

Yeah, I’m sure our adversaries will respect us all the more.
