Here’s Barack and Michelle Obama with Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and his family. The State Department uploaded it to Flickr. (What an unlikely sentence!) Whoops-no one in Spain has ever seen Zapatero’s Goth daughters before!
Well, now they have. Thanks to the US State Department, Zapatero’s not-entirely-unreasonable desire to *not* have his daughters faces plastered all over the media has been trumped. And who knew that “Zapatero” was Spanish for “Addams?”

We in Spain are suffering this “goth” family during 5 years now. If this results awesome, just look images of the “VicePresidenta” and the rest of the government…

I just got a kick out of the “first daughters.” They look like a hoot. But Zapatero himself… well, from what I know, it sounds like he and Obama could be great pals. Zappie was Al Queda’s choice, so that’s not to be forgotten either.
