So Disney fired “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn a while back because he made a number of pedophilia-ish Tweet “jokes” some years ago. The decision was made pretty fast and likely without a whole lot of reflection, no doubt due to the fear that corporations have these days of being associated with anyone who upsets the Internet Outrage Mob. But in this case, there were a whole lot of people who defended Gunn, including Guardian cast members. There have been rumors that Disney might change their minds and bring Gunn back. Maybe because that would be the right thing to do, and maybe, just maybe, and hear me out here, because “Guardians” is a gigantic money machine for Disney.

And then this happened:

Once again this is not an illegal thing, and on its own perhaps not that big of a deal. But in context, boy howdy did Gunn like him some pedo humor. To a ridiculously icky degree.
