What “print on demand” T-shirt suppliers do you recommend?

Like the title sez. Let’s say I have ideas for T-shirts – phrase and/or illustrations – that I think *some* people might be interested in, but not enough to have a bajillion printed up. Cafepress? Someone else? Anyone have experience that they’d use to recommend for or against?
