The Orion Battleship is out the hatch and, for the moment, out of my hands. At some point it’ll be 3-D printed then I’ll get the parts to clean and finish. But that’ll likely be some weeks off yet.

Looks like the beginning of the Hawk BETA bomber. Wanted one the moment I saw it on the shelf at GEMs in the 60s.
Finally found one on eBay but the fuselage is cracked. What scale is this one going to be?
Ah yes, the XAB-1 Beta-1 Atomic-Powered Bomber! What scale you gonna render it in? 1/72nd perhaps? Please!

Got it in one. 1/144 scale is the target (larger than the originals 1/188); in 1/72 it’d be uneconomical.
I assume it will be available through Fantastic Plastic.
