Of all my cats, Buttons is the only one who tolerates having stuff put on him. This includes blankets, Cones of Shame, and small hats. I put this hat on Speedbump; he freaked out in the “freeze in place and look terrified” way. I put it on Raedthinn; he promptly removed it and gave me a dirty look. Fingers ran away. Buttons simply wore it.
Of course, he was cool with simply not wearing anything at all. Last week he got a steroid shot at the vet and he has stopped trying to tear his fur out. Hopefully that effect will last.
