As a followup to last nights post, here are more photos of the Kennecott / Bingham Canyon Mine. Clearly I need to do a bit better job of coverage for stitching together panorams; in my defense, the place is fricken’ HUGE. More photos still to come.
Strictly speaking, the Bingham Canyon Mine is no longer the largest man-made hole. This one is brand new, but far larger.

One hole is awe-inspiring. The other hole almost gave me a heart attack. Guess which is which.
