One of Russia’s most famous statues of Vladimir Lenin has been bombed, leaving the Bolshevik revolutionary with a gaping hole in his rear.
The bronze statue, in the city of St Petersburg, was badly damaged before dawn on Wednesday, when the blast blew a hole in Lenin’s coat.
<>Awesome. In general I’m not a fan of vandals, and certainly not a fan of vandalizing history. But statues that celebrate one of the most evil men in history… well, I just can’t get too upset about someone blowing the ass off of it. Comrade! It appears that hooligans have “lit off a bomber”, so to speak.
That would have been great to see happen; I hope someone got video of it going off.
Great ***-reaming method. Not a fan of vandalism myself either, but after watching what the communist vandals sponsored by Chavez here have done to historical landmarks, that comes as a relief!!!

If you’re in Venezuela, watch out and be careful. Sadly, the new US President is not looking to be any better than Hugo.
I’ve been watching out and being careful for the last ten years. “Chosen Ones” tend to be a nuisance in everyday life matters. Specially those left-leaning ones. Be watchful you there, too. Learn from our failed state. Thank God you have solid institutions and and a very knowledgeable, law-abiding citizenship, despite the choice taken. Protect Family, Property and Tradition.
