China’s 1st Moon Rover Launches On Lunar Journey

That’s interesting. Also interesting was this datapoint:

Chang’e 3 will land on the lunar surface by mid-December, becoming the first spacecraft to touch down on the moon in more than 37 years.

Think on that: 37 years since mankind has bothered to land something on the moon.
