The wheel turns, does it not….

Just a few weeks ago, a producer for Fox News was arrested for possession of kiddy porn on his computer.

This resulted in the usual partisan blather from the Leftard peanut gallery, including the inevitable “this just proves that Republicans are bad” claims.

Well, wonder of wonders, former NPR science editor and correspondant David Malakoff has also been charged with possession of kiddy porn.

Oddly enough, a search at Daily Kos for “David Malakoff” found 0 results. A search on Aaron Bruns at the Rightwingnut equivalent, Free Republic, does in fact turn up three separate threads. Interestingly, even though Bruns was employed by Fox, he gave to “America Coming Together,” a political action group that worked to elect Democrat/union candidates.

Does the charging of Malakoff with possession of illegal pornography mean that his politics are by definition flawed/wrong/immoral? Hell no. What it means is that he is (allegedly) flawed/wrong/immoral. What it shows is that dumbassery of this kind knowns no political affiliation.

Still, Eric Holder needs to go eat a bag of dicks.
