Dumb as a sack of hammers, a horse is still often enough a curious critter. Whenever I go out back, at least one of ’em will trot up to the fence to watch me.

white horse seems jealous that you’re taking away the attention of the brown horse, whitey is pretending you’re not there, but keeps an eye on you while playing with brown.
I don’t know diddly about horses, even though half a dozen of ’em live on my property. I leave them alone, they leave me alone. But in the photos, the white horse kinda looks – to me, anyway – like it’s being affectionate with the brown one. Were these cats, this’d look like grooming/bonding behavior.
What I was unable to get on photo, though, was immediately after this when the white one *bit* the brown one, driving it away.
Heh, I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks horses have the intelligence of a cat…
