The one concern I have with 3D printed organs, as opposed to organs that are basically cloned, is… where would you get *pounds* of genetically appropriated liver cells to print them into shape? with cloned organs, all you need is a small percentage of the appropriate types of cells. But here you’d need, seemingly, *all* the cells. And wouldn’t the best way to get all the cells be to clone the organ?
