Excellent photographs. Can you give us some hints as to how you take them? I thought that a special tripod head was necessary so that the camera rotated around some pre-calibrated point in order to avoid parallax errors.

Nope. About half are hand-held. Parallax is only an issue when there are things in the near foreground. On some of the panoramas you can see where the photo stitch software couldn’t quite deal with a few foreground items – twigs and fenceposts and such – and thus there are “ghosts.” But those can be dealt with in post easily enough if need be.
