Could two platinum coins solve the debt-ceiling crisis?

In short: there is no legal limit to the value of platinum coins the US Mint can circulate, so a few economist-types have floated the notion of having the government mint one or two platinum coins with a $1 trillion denomination. Debt limit/fiscal cliff solved!
