Scott – too much details visible on Earth surface for a view from orbit
It’s just IMHO, but you’d better take one of that shots with Earth curvature visible
>The idea is supposed to be that this is an Orion seen by another spacecraft >from some considerable distance through a telescope.
>Meh, maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t.
Maybe some graticules superimposed over the image might just give it that touch of verite it needs? Maybe range data readouts ‘n’ other such stuff too?
The cover picture looks good but not so real because its an edited Landsat type image of Manhattan intended to provide an imagery based map. The following link is an actual photo taken from space and includes clouds and curvature. With a bit of colour editing it could look pretty good.
I like the little Hypersonic lifting body poping out of its side. 🙂
BTW I’ll buy this issue as soon as its done.
Popping????
Looks good, Scott. An awesome machine.
thats good Cover art

The idea is supposed to be that this is an Orion seen by another spacecraft from some considerable distance through a telescope.

It’s very dart-like, just not very silver…

But if the cover is done and the APR finished then please send it out! I can’t wait for the Orion stuff!
