One of Mommacats most recent litter. Of the four, this is the only one I’ve seen for a week… since the big snowfall. Obvious conclusions can be drawn from that. This kitten is very skittish, not at all human-friendly.

And here’s Mommacat her own self, trying to force her way into the house…

Pretty cats.
I have a Momma cat and four kittens living in the bushes in my yard right now.
Will catch and fix them.
And, hopefully, find them homes.

I’ve gotten into the habit of feeding the local strays, both to try and make them more human-friendly and to (hopefully) help keep the local rodent population down. We’ve had a few we’ve taken to the local vet as we can afford it since “out” indoor cats insist on rubbing noses with them during the summer through the window screens. I hate seeing homeless cats but there are a lot of them that are quite feral and seeing some of the neighborhood kids chasing them and chucking rocks at them I can’t really blame them. I kinda wish someone would come up with a “sprinkle-over-the-food” contraceptive or sterilizer.
