In final preparation for tomorrows “open house” with the photos. So guess what I woke up to at 3 AM today… that’s right, a BLIZZARD. Perfect.
Anyway, here’s the “art gallery,” such as it is. As it takes up only a small fraction of the workshop, I’ve segregated it via highly classy suspended drop cloth. Woo. Still, it took up more space than I expected it would… not that long ago I figured a single shelving unit would be sufficient, but now even two don’t do the job.

Those are pretty sweet! You’re probably already aware of this but there are several Arts Festivals throughout the year. I know there’s one in Salt Lake, one in Park City, and probably one in Ogden. Would be the perfect place to show your work.
I’m aware of the art festivals. I was getting ready to take a stab at hitting a couple of the local autumn ones when I got the job out in Maryland. But now we’re in the dead of winter… I don’t think there are any more such art shows for quite some time. And I just got the latest credit card bill, which needs to be paid by the end of the month. Yeeeeesh. You know, it really doesn’t take a whole lot of days where you buy $600 worth of prints and $500 worth of frames – and then do it again, and again, and maybe a couple more times – before you start racking up a surprisingly large bill.
Disturbingly, I’d need to sell about *40* of the largest panoramas before I’d just break even with the bills (never mind payign this months mortgage). I’m not even sure how the hell that happened…
