XCOR Aerospace and the Southwest Research Institute will award a research flight on board the XCOR Lynx suborbital spaceplane to one paid registrant at the Next-Generation Suborbital Researchers Conference. This conference will be held February 27-29, 2012, in Palo Alto, California.
The contest rules are HERE.
I bet these guys are going to be in the running:
Of course, they’d better keep an eye out for someone trying to game the system…

Hey I know the latest guy, he’s coming from “Real Genius” movie back in 1986 (at that time I was 18 year old space geek….).
Scott, I hope you’ll be in the running on this one. Would be awesome to see you go up in space.

Nope.
1) Contest is only open to researchers… I have no science projects (though I could certainly dream some up)
B) Contest is only open to people attending the conference
Γ) The winner might get the flight for free, but it’s considered income ($95K worth), and the IRS will come calling for their cut afterwards. I ain’t got the dough.
