–He’d been shooting two different guns, in two very different retention holsters. One of those designs is, IMO, not all that good, as it requires the shooter’s index finger to press a button to release the gun. And that’s part of what caused this ND.
Was the pistol a Glock by any chance?
A friend of my nephew did the same thing with a Glock – bullet went in by his knee, exited out the bottom of his foot. Something to be said for having safeties on the side of pistols rather than in the trigger.
