i’ve been told, that when cats sit/lie like that, they’re expressing contentment, i.e., that they’re happy.
I can’t speak to whether Raedthinn was happy or not, but he was interrupted in the process of grooming himself (“because he can”), and seemed to just sorta forget what he was doing.
